A BAR SERVER (or Bar Waiter) is responsible for taking drink orders, serving drinks and providing excellent customer service to bar patrons. They must have great knowledge of the bar’s menu and be able to make recommendations based on customer preferences. As a tipped position, it pays off to go the extra mile in providing memorable service to the guests. They are also responsible for safe drinking and must (at times) know when to report if guests are drunk to unsafe levels.
