RESTAURANT ATTENDANTS

A Restaurant Attendant (also knows as Assistant Server, Buffet Steward, or Snack Attendant by different cruise lines) is the entry level position for the Restaurant Services department. It is responsible for assisting in the casual dining areas by refilling drinks, serving bread, setting up tables, cleaning tables and buffets and helping with any other customer service tasks as needed. They must provide excellent customer service and work well as part of a team. They will work their way up in the Restaurant Services Department. Usually, they will be promoted into Waiter Assistants to learn more about International Cuisine Menus, Beverages, and Wines to pair up with in the Fine Dining venues.
