SPA RECEPTIONIST

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests onboard. They are responsible for booking appointments, answering questions about the spa services and products, and managing the spa's reservations and billing systems accurately. They will report to the Spa Manager in case of any escalated guests issues or concerns.

SPA MANAGER

The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the spa onboard and that the team delivers revenue sales every voyage as per company's expectations. They ensure that all spa services are performed to a high standard and that customers are satisfied with their experience. They manage the spa staff, purchase supplies, and ensure the facilities cleaniless and safety at all times.

SPA ASSISTANT MANAGER

The Spa Assistant Manager assists the Spa Manager in overseeing the spa operations onboard a cruise ship. They are responsible for ensuring that all spa services are provided to a high standard and that customers are satisfied with their experience. They also assist with scheduling, ordering supplies, and training staff.

NAIL TECHNICIAN

A Nail Technician provides nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and artificial nail application. They work in the onboard spa and are responsible for providing passengers with perfectly polished and well-groomed nails. They will be expected to cross sell other services offered onboard to support the team and the overall Spa revenue every voyage.

MASSAGE THERAPIST

The Massage Therapists offer a variety of types of massage services to passengers at the onboard SPA, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Relaxation Massage, Detox Massage. Each massage will have different benefits and they must know how to explain and perform the services providing ultimate well-being, relief of pain and relaxation to the guests. Often they will need to recommend products and perform retail sales to meet targets per voyage and per month.

HAIR STYLIST

A Hair Stylist provides hair cutting, styling, and coloring services onboard a cruise ship. They work in the Onboard SPA and are responsible for creating the perfect hairstyle for each passenger, whether it be a simple trim or an elaborate updo. The perfect candidate has worked on land or onboard other Spas and has the correct certification accepted by international standards; they have completed hairdressing training at a FULL-TIME college or completed a three-year apprenticeship and must be qualified in ladies’ hairdressing while confident with gentlemen’s hairdressing.

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

A Fitness Instructor provides exercise classes and personal training sessions for passengers onboard a cruise ship. They may lead Yoga, Zumba, PIlates, aerobics, dance, or weightlifting classes, and also provide one-on-one training to help passengers reach their fitness goals. They will also host workshops on different wellbeing themes and be expected to meet weekly sales targets through product or services recommendations to the guests.

BEAUTY THERAPIST

The Beauty Specialist is responsible for providing Beauty Spa Services to the guests. They may offer services such as Facials, Peelings, special treatments to reduce measurements utilizing infra-red or galvanic current machines and other top-of-the-art beatuy treatments. They must offer exceptional customer service and be great sales achievers, as they will have Sales Targets in services and retailed products availalbe at the Onboard Spa.

ACUPUNCTURIST

An Acupuncturist is a licensed practitioner who provides acupuncture services onboard a cruise ship Spa. They use thin needles to stimulate specific points on the body to relieve pain and promote healing. They may also provide other holistic health services such as herbal medicine and others.
