We will soon start hiring for the upcoming Royal Caribbean Mexican resorts, located in Costa Maya and Cozumel, both launching in 2026. While most positions will be filled by Mexican citizens and permanent residents, there will be exceptions for a limited number of international staff in selected supervisory and managerial roles. Royal Beach Club – Cozumel

Launching in December 2026, the Royal Beach Club Cozumel will offer a premium beach experience with beachfront cabanas, local cuisine, live music, and world-class service. Hiring will focus primarily on local talent in Quintana Roo, but selected leadership positions may be available for experienced international professionals already established in Mexico.

Perfect Day Mexico – Costa Maya

Opening in December 2026, Perfect Day Mexico will deliver Royal Caribbean’s boldest adventure ever:
– The tallest waterslides in the Americas
– The longest lazy river in the world
– Signature Royal Caribbean attractions infused with Mexican culture, music, and spirit

GENERAL RULES

– Candidates must preferably hold a passport valid for at least 12 months.
Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory.
– Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
– Additional international languages are an asset (German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin, Hebrew).
– All employment contracts will follow Mexican Labour Laws.
– Candidates will be responsible for their own housing and transportation.

Job openings are exclusively for: Mexican citizens, or foreigners who already have a working permit and permanent residency in Mexico, and are willing to relocate to Quintana Roo.

Are you willing to work onboard a ship for 10 to 34 weeks away from your family and friends, working 10–12 hours a day, 7 days a week?

Have you been found guilty of any crimes in the past, that would stop you from getting a Police Background Check Clearance?

Have you ever knowingly or unknowingly violated any laws governing the issuance of foreign work, visitor or transit visas? Or have you ever had an American Visa declined?

If you accept an offer to work onboard a cruise ship as a Crew Member, you are also accepting to be a safety representative of the vessel. That includes performing weekly safety briefings, drills, and emergency tasks and will be trained in your specific assigned safety role. Do you believe you are physically able to participate in life-saving procedures and drills, which may include lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or assisting passengers and other crew into lifeboats, should an emergency arise?

Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree? While a Bachelor’s degree is not mandatory for all positions, it may be a requirement for some staff positions.

Do you have any Technical Certification?

Do you have any tattoos? (Some cruise lines have policies regarding visible tattoos while wearing uniforms or interacting with guests. This information is collected only to assess compliance with client requirements and will not be used for any other purpose or to discriminate against candidates).
