The ENTERTAINMENT DIRECTOR (ED) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the entertainment programs on a cruise ship, including live performances, shows, and all fun activities sscheduled in any venue, day or night. They work with the Cruise Director (the face of the ship) to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests and alongside the Hotel Director to provide a safe and fullfilling vacation experience. The ideal candidate will bring lots of managerial experience as well as prior Entertainment related background, from land or ship based past positions. While the CD will be the the front end of the FUN, the ED will fullfill all “back-of-the-house” demands to ensure all Entertainment Operations run smoothly, safely and to meet high guests’ expectations.
