SOUND TECHNICIAN
The AUDIO or SOUND TECHNICIAN is responsible for the overall sound quality during all entertainment large events on the main theatre, managing the consoles and mixing the channels per singer or performer as needed per show. They operate the sound system and make sure that the sound levels are appropriate for each event. They are responsible for the main shows and will rehearsal with the specific cast. They will also support the Entertainment Technical team and secondary lounges as needed.
SKI INSTRUCTOR
The SKI INSTRUCTOR provides ski sport instruction at the resorts ski stations. They teach guests how to ski, snowboard, and participate safely in the activities at the resorts. This is a land based seasonal position, not available all year round.
RIGGERS
RIGGERS are responsible for the sets-up and operate all aspects of theatrical rigging systems, including motor lines, hoists, tracks, drums, lifts and programming of PC/PLC based automation systems.
PRO DJ
The PRO DJ is responsible for providing the best lounge or club entertainment music to the guests. They play a variety of music genres and use state-of-the-art equipment to create a lively atmosphere at differnet venues and times of the day and night. They enjoy keeping the party alive and ensure that guests are having a blast!
AQUATICS STAGE STAFF – PADI DIVERS
The PADI DIVERS - AQUATICS STAGE STAFF are responsible for assisting with under water backstage during aquatics shows, helping the performers from under water, moving elements and pieces that will be used during the aquatic shows. They may perform diving stunts, and help set up and operate equipment for the shows. If you are a PADI DIVER, the cruise line will pay for your training in Las Vegas for 3 months, but you must complete minimum 2 contracts at sea with the cruise line.
NURSERY STAFF
NURSERY STAFF are responsible for taking care of young children in the onboard nursery, usually 0-2 years old. They provide a safe and fun environment for children to play and interact with kids, change diapers and feed them as per instructions. They have special care in following safety protocols to manage the kids in the absence of their parents.
MUSICIANS
MUSICIANS are performers who provide live music for guests on different venues onboard. Much beyond playing an instrument, they must have an "Entertainer" outgoing personality, must be fluent in English, know how to sight read and improvise guests requests.
LIGHT TECHNICIAN
The LIGHT TECH is responsible for managing the lighting for onboard entertainment shows, including live performances and musicals. When not "on show", they are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of all moving and fixed lights as well as to support the technicians team onboard as needed.
LES – LOUNGE TECHNICIAN
The LOUNGE TECHNICIAN (LES) is responsible for maintaining and repairing the audio and visual equipment in all ship's lounges. They ensure that all equipment is in good working order and that guests have access to a variety of entertainment options. They will operate switch boards in secondary lounges while the Sound Tech is managing the main theatre shows. HOST DJ
The HOST DJ is an Entertainment Host who rotates in all Entertainment activities, but also knows how to DJ and operate such equipment in support to the DJ PRO. It is responsible for playing music and hosting onboard parties and events in secundary lounges or to get the party startged while the DJ PRO is finishing another event. They ensure that guests have a fun and enjoyable time and keep the party atmosphere going. They will also perform all other Entertainment Host activities as designated by the CD or ED.
