MARINE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Marine Admin Assistant provides administrative support to the ship's marine management team, specifically the Chief Engineer and the Captain teams. They assist with various tasks such as managing schedules, answering phones, and handling mail and email correspondence. They must also be knowledgeable with technical terms of parts that need to be ordered and systems that support the deck and engine departments.
MAINTENANCE
The Maintenance team is responsible for ensuring that the ship is well-maintained and in good working order. They perform routine inspections and repairs of the various systems and equipment on the ship to keep it functioning to meet guests' satisfaction.
LIFEGUARD SUPERVISOR
The Lifeguard Supervisor oversees the operation of the ship's swimming pools and water-based activities onboard the ship or in the private islands owned by some cruise lines. They manage the lifeguard staff and ensure the safety and well-being of passengers while they are enjoying the aquatic facilities. They will train, schedule and provide leadership feedback to the team.
LIFEGUARD STAFF
The Lifeguard Staff is responsible for ensuring the safety of the ship's passengers while they are swimming in the ship's pools, hot tubs or private island beaches. They are trained in water safety and CPR, and are equipped with rescue equipment and other safety gear.
LAWNKEEPER
The Lawnkeeper is responsible for maintaining the ship's lawns and gardens, including mowing, watering, and trimming. They work with the Horticulturist to create a beautiful and inviting outdoor environment for the ship's passengers.
JOINER
The Joiner is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing the ship's wooden structures and fixtures, including furniture, cabinetry, and paneling. They use a variety of tools and techniques to create high-quality woodwork, and ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards.
INCINERATOR OPERATOR
The Incinerator Operator (or Environmental Officer) is responsible for operating and maintaining the ship's incinerator (which is used to burn waste products generated on board the ship) and waste management per category . They ensure that the incinerator is operating safely and efficiently, and that all waste is disposed of properly.
HORTICULTURIST
The Horticulturist is responsible for maintaining the ship's gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas. They work with a team of landscapers and gardeners to create and maintain a beautiful and inviting outdoor environment for the ship's passengers.
FITTER TURNER
The Fitter Turner is responsible for manufacturing and repairing metal components on the ship, including parts for the ship's engines and other machinery. They use a variety of tools and techniques to create high-precision components, and ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards.
FITTER REPAIRMAN
The Fitter Repairman is responsible for repairing and maintaining the ship's equipment and systems. They work with a team of technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve problems, and to ensure that the ship's machinery is functioning properly.
